Better Brands Assessment Questionnaire (beta)

Better Brand Sustainability Assessment Questionnaire

PLEASE READ before you start...

All information you provide here will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third parties. It will only be used for the purpose of this assessment.

"Facilities" refers to facilities involved in the supply chain leading to the finished garment, so it may include textile mills as well as the end manufacturers

"Evidence" can be referenced first on the text fields and then attached at the end of each sections. Evidence may include reports, audits, certifications or test reports.

Brands may use a lot of different suppliers, some might be certified / audited, others not... So to plan for this we added a "only a percentage" option for many questions. For instance, a brand using 2 manufacturers, one WRAP certified and one not certified could give a 50% answer to most labour related questions.

This questionnaire will take around 30 minutes to complete. We use cookies to save your progress in your browser but recommend to complete the questionnaire in one go.

This tool—and the criteria contained in it—were created in collaboration with re-make to tell brands how well they are doing in regards to ethical and sustainable best practices

4. Raw materials

4-1: Which of the following materials does your company use for its products?
Please highlight which material you use in your products and what percentage it represents of your total product range. The added percentage of all the materials you choose below needs to total 100%.
The added percentage for each fabric needs to equal 100%.
E.g. 50% of the products you make use 100% cotton and 50% of the products you make use 20% Wool and 80% cotton, then you should have: Cotton: 50 + (50*0.8)= 90%. Wool: 50*0.2= 10%. The TOTAL for all your products is 90% cotton, 10% wool (90% + 10% = 100%)
